Lovers Lane Bridge, Berlin-Riverton, Washington County, VT Flood Nov 1927
Todd Clark Collection
Comments:
Per The Barre Daily Times, May 25, 1928, Lover's Lane covered bridge was one of the bridges in Berlin lost in the Nov-1927 flood and to be replaced under a new contract with McClintic Marshall Co. of Boston. During the flood, this bridge washed downstream and lodged against a railway bridge diverting water through a gravel pit.
