Directions: Near the mouth of Saxtons River south of Bellows Falls on the road to Westminster. At or near the present crossing of US 5.

Comments:
Cost $570. Per the Argus and Patriot (Montpelier), November 25, 1891, "The owners of the abutting land gave what was necessary for the approaches to the new iron bridge about to be across the mouth of Saxtons river, and the bridge has been contracted for at $7,865, Westminster having voted $8,000." Per the Bellow Falls Times, December 17, 1891, "The new road has been roughly graded to the northern approach of the new Saxton's River bridge, and the ledges cleared at both anchorages. It is certainly a great undertaking for a country town, but the benefits accruing to Westminster will more than compensate for the outlay." Coordinates are approximate.
