Comments:
Visible on the 1891 Barre Panoramic Map. Per The Barre Daily Times, June 7, 1910, "The new steel bridge to replace the old covered bridge on the Central Vermont railroad below Granite street will arrive here this week, and the work of putting it up will start at once after its arrival." The bridge almost burned down, according to a September 22, 1910 article before the replacement bridge could be put in place.
