Comments:
Like many Washington County Bridges, this one has vertical siding painted red inside and out with an opening near the top. There are three rectangular windows on each side. The bridge had been supported by two timber trestles, but now sits atop six steel I-beams. According to a covered bridge booklet put out by the Washington County Planning Commission, maintenance records for the bridge date back to 1915, so it’s been standing at least since then. It is a single span Queenpost Truss with an overall length of 40', a clear span of 35' and a 12' roadway. (Falk) Owned by the county.
