Comments:
County #2. 8-panel truss. The first bridge at the site, a two span 60' Burr truss, was built in 1812 by James Moore and stood until washed away in a freshet in 1828. The present bridge was built in 1830 as a single span Burr Truss. It was closed to traffic in 1981, it was rebuilt in 1982 by the Red Rock Construction Company. It is found about 2ΒΌ miles east of Montandon on T573, which is Snyder Road in East Chillisquaque Township and Ridge Road in West Chillisquaque Township, with the road changing names at the bridge.
