Directions: 2.5 miles south of jct PA56 on PA96 to Ryot, then 0.4 miles left on Bowser Road (T559) at a "T" intersection with Dunnings Creek Road (SR4013 - LR05098).

Comments:
County Bridge #12. 8-panel truss. This bridge had a warning on the end that all persons crossing it faster than a walk are subject to a fine of $5.00. It was restored in 1995, then destroyed by arson on August 14, 2002. A new covered bridge was built on the same abutments in 2004 by Kee-ta Quay Construction with P. Joseph Lehman, Inc. the engineer. There was a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 24, 2004. A small portion of the total project cost of $300,000 was recouped from the juveniles who set the fire. The only timbers salvaged from the old bridge were usable sections of the chords in the truss. As a result, the bridge was dropped from the National Register of Historic Places because it had lost its historical significance.
