Comments:
Bridge #15009. 11 panels @ 15' each. This is the second longest covered bridge in Oregon. Named for the Goodpasture family who lived nearby, the bridge was designed by the state highway department and built by Lane County for $13,154. This bridge was washed off its abutments during a December 1942 flood and was restored to the site. Significant repairs were made in 1987 to strengthen the bridge and improve the roadway. The April 1987 dedication was attended by Ole Halverson who helped build the bridge in 1938.
