Comments:
Per the Medford Mail Tribune, September 29, 1960, the covered bridge at Wimer was built in 1927 and was not in use,but had also not been torn down. Per the Medford Mail Tribune, March 21, 1961, a 90-signature petition to preserve the covered bridge was filed with the court on Monday, March 20, 1961. It was rebuilt 1962. The first bridge collapsed on July 6, 2003, injuring three people. It was rebuilt in 2008.
