Comments:
6-panel truss. Moved 1970. Per The Journal-Leader (Caldwell), January 20, 1966, this was the last remaining one of 6 or 7 old wooden covered bridges, once between Ollve and Middleburg. This brIdge was known by many names down through the years, many misleading. The best name for the bridge seems to be the Parks Hill bridge because the township road went from SR 564 through it and up a hill to Herrons Ridge, passing first through land once owned by David Parks. It had also been known as Dimmerling and Gerst based on families who lived near the bridge.
