Comments:
The bridge was announced as newly opened in the May 22, 1867 Ashtabula Sentinel Newspaper and is thought to be the oldest in the county. The bridge is now bypassed. Laminated arches were added during its renovation in 2003-2004. The arch is integral to the truss, which is a 3-web Howe. The arch shares the middle web with the opposite-facing truss members. A rededication ceremony was held on May 16, 2004.
