Comments:
Closed, bypassed. 6-panel truss. Steel tension bracing rods and steel beams were added during repairs in 1950. The bridge was bypassed in 1973. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 29, 1975. The bridge was named for Thomas Kirker, the second governor of Ohio from 1807-1808. Governor Kirker’s home and grave are a short distance south of the bridge.
