Comments:
The structure rests on abutments of non-mortared stone blocks and slabs. In 1978 it was painted barn red inside and out. Circa 2002 some roof boards were replaced and a standing-seam steel roof was installed. It is unique in Northfield, Vermont in that it alone has rounded portals. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 13, 1974.
