Comments:
This is a private bridge owned by the Howe family, which owns the adjacent farm, and decorates the bridge with flowers in the summer. In 1994 repairs were made including the deck and floor beam replacement. In 2002 the bridges roof was replaced with a standing-seam steel roof which included replacing the roof boards and the unusual roof knee brace, which extend above the roof beams to the top of the opposing knee brace for improved lateral stability. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 10, 1974.
