Comments:
Per the Marysville Journal-Tribune, May 23, 1917, "STRINGTOWN ---- The covered bridge over Darby, at what is known as Gray Hills was burned Tuesday evening about five o'clock. The origin of the fire is not known at present." On July 17, 2006, this bridge was moved to a 3-mile section of an abandoned rail line that is being used as a multi-purpose trail. It is now just west of the Spain Creek Bridge (OH/35-80-02). A new, modern covered bridge (OH/35-80-61) was built at the former site in 2007.
