Comments:
The Grange City or Hillsboro Bridge over Fox Creek was built around 1867. The bridge was originally a duplicate of the one at Ringos Mill. Horizontal siding was replaced by corrugated sheet metal and the portal was changed in 1926. The bridge was bypassed and closed in 1968. The corrugated siding was replaced with vertical white oak in 1983. Over the years, floodwaters have eroded the abutments to the point where the bridge became unstable. In June and July 2020, KYTC crews and Arnold Graton Associates added steel supports to stabilize the bridge until the necessary repairs can be made. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 26, 1976. A 1937 survey sheet exists.
