Directions: 0.4 miles northeast of jct GA370 on GA62, then 1.8 miles left on Old River Rd. (bearing left at 0.5 miles), then left on Old River Rd. 0.1 miles to a dead end. Park and walk 250' south to the bridge. North-northwest of Hilton.

Comments:
This was one of four bridges discussed in Early County Commissioner's minutes of May 2, 1883. No action was taken until 1891 when the Commissioner's meeting minutes of July 7, 1891 indicated that they were presently under construction. This is the southernmost covered bridge in the United States.
