Comments:
The Anniston Star of August 11, 1920 reported that this covered bridge burned about 3:00 in the morning. The fire was reported by a troop of Boy Scouts who had unsuccesssfully formed a bucket brigade to extinguish the fire. It was reported that the a group of men caught in the rain created a fire inside the bridge to dry their clothes.
